ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENTS

Mid-February

Kindness Week. Children and families create a list of random acts of kindness to share with their community of family and friends. At the end of the week we will share at circle time. 

March/April

Parent-Teacher Meetings. Have a quiet moment to talk one-on-one with your child’s teacher. Each meeting is thirty minutes, scheduled between 1p-3p the last two weeks of March.

Beautification Day. We will spread compost and tan bark and plant flowers and veggies. Perhaps we will have some repairs or painting to complete as well. Children are invited to attend this event. Everyone works (and plays) a bit. 

June

Parenting Journey Celebration. Parents come join us in the garden and enjoy a cup of tea, coffee and scones. Children will joyfully sing some of their favorite songs for you and then leave you to enjoy the company of the other parents at The Farm. Enjoy time together, spending some moments to find the joy and gratitude of this parenting journey. We will create a small gift for ourselves and something sweet for our children. We will also honor any children leaving The Farm to attend Kindergarten or TK in the Fall.

Mid July-Mid August: The Farm is CLOSED for repairs, renovations, and rest!

August/ September

Welcoming Picnic. Bring your lunch and a large picnic blanket. All of the teachers will be present to meet and mingle with all of the children and their families. This is a great time to meet your children’s peers and other enrolled families. And of course, a great time to introduce yourselves to our farm animal friends as well! 

October

Pumpkin Patch Fall Festival. Come pick a pumpkin from our patch and enjoy some fun Fall time festivities.
